Edit: Updated the blend file to use my standard sculpting layout and fix a few quirks (I had retopo switched on in edit mode which would might have been confusing).
Another animation test. This time playing with modifiers and lots of lattices. Plus I managed a rather cool graphic equaliser effect. Click the image for a Vimeo link!
A model of my family crest that I am hopefully getting printed in 3D as a birthday present for my father, unfortunately shapeways is currently saying it’s a non-manifold mesh even thought I’ve checked and double checked it, and I know it isn’t. Sigh. Does anyone know of a good program for performing nice clean boolean operations so I could try lumping it all into one mesh to find out if that’s the problem? Or alternately another company besides shapeways that might be able to print it (assuming the error really isn’t my fault)?
A video test of a graphic equaliser effect I’ve been working on for a tutorial. Nothing special yet, in fact you will have seen similar already in the cube video I posted. I’m just working on simplifying and tweaking it. Click for vimeo link:
A character I’ve been working on, possibly as part of a BWC entry, possibly just for the sake of it. Based on this design.
Some messing around with BGE. Trolley has movable wheels etc. Just trying to get my head around it at the moment. Blendfiles (it’s a few files due to linked libraries etc. hopefully nothing is missing) available here: http://uploader.polorix.net//files/84/TrolleyScene.zip
Can anyone tell me why when I make an instance of the trolley group, it doesn’t behave as expected? It just falls apart. It seems the rigid body constraints are not being carried over for some reason.
A random head. Used a photo for inspiration/reference, but apart from that it was done as an excercise at head modelling without ortho refs to go from. Took longer but it was good fun, and it has a lot of character as a result. No sculpting done so far, but I will get to it as I want to develop this one a bit further yet.
