That is not possible. You can add another in edit mode and delete that one. Adding in edit mode will keep the settings on that one.
Disappointed
If you created the object and did not use any other commands, you can open the settings with the F9 key.
Unfortunately you cannot change the settings anymore. Thats disappointed.
You can still edit - just like with any other curve.
