Damn that’s lookin very nice = ) I like how your interface is set up. (ammo, health) It’s very inspiring. I think perhaps I will design an interface for my game project and post some progress here, but my bullet physics contest entry is keeping me busy at the moment. Maybe i’ll cough something up soon.
Here’s an FPS I’ve been working on for several months (although technology advances so fast it’s not the same game as when it started…)
The arm and gun are just set-ins; placeholders if you will. I’ve got sounds, bullets (and bullet-holes thanks to Social!), a working hud, logic and scipting (for the character), part of an animatic and more. There is a 3rd person death cam (as in Halo). THE GRAPHICS ARE NOT DONE!! I know they’re bad:D.
You’re not using the BGE though, right? I mean you use blender to model and UV map the whole thing, but you’re exporting to something else it seems.
Are you using an already made game engine, or are you coding your own with SDL? Also, that cel shader, did you write that yourself too? It looks awsome.
Thanks Social. Its my own code using SDL, not BGE. I wrote the cel “shader” (i found the algorithm on the net somewhere). I can give the binary/code if someone is interested (zero educational value and early in development:)).
