It is about time that I post again something on this forum!
This was originally just a metal texturing practice but I thought it would be nice to have a little scene and some decent lighting.
Rendered in Cycles 1500*1500px at 800 samples, some compositing in Nuke.
Thats a really nice metal shader. Really nice shaders in general actually. Only criticisms would be that the marble shader is a bit off (maybe a touch more specular and bump, marble also has some SSS if you wanna go really fancy) and the lighting is a bit flat.
Thank you for your replies! It’s good to hear that the texturing didn’t turn out too bad. Words is right about the marble, I should have spent 10 minutes more on tweaking its shader. I’ll keep it in mind for future projects.
