Will you store these as shapekeys for animation, or is this going to be a still only?

Hi Craig, yeah it’s going to be a still only. The shapekeys will be stored anyaway, if in the future someone wants to animated him.

doing a little bit of texturing.

Started testing some hair on the cat.

With his tail up like that and the look on his face, that cat looks menacing!

That cat looks incredibly realistic except for inside the ear, but bravo on the whole thing! Those paws!

@gradyp really? Oh I’m working on hin in a more neutral pose/expression. He will look more friendly in the final pose/expression.

@Craig_Joneshey thank you! I’m still working on his lookdev, I’m trying this more cartoonish approach in the ear without hair, maybe adjusting the color inside the ear this part will look more natural.

another wip of the cats, working of the fur…

Very cool, looks smoother than the first, but also allows some more hints to the form underneath

Thanks for the feedback Craig. I’ve been trying some different approaches to comb the fur and different shading techniques, this is why I think the last cat looks better. Let me finish this guys and I will share some techniques.

Hi there! I just want to share a recent (commercial) work we did at the studio I work, with the advertising agency Centro, for a local private health care system Unimed, about diabetes. I was responsible for the modeling, texturing and I did some shading together with Ricardo, who did everything else, lighting, post production, supervison. The modeling was done in Blender and the rendering was done in Vray inside 3Ds Max.

I like this - was this a still as shown, or did you animate the domino effect to this?

Thanks Craig! Yep, just a still. Wow, it would be a lot more complex to animate this, had not thought about that.

Well for a job that tough, there would be more pay, right? Still awesome, thanks for sharing!

Yep, indeed. Thank you for the comment.

Hi there! I would like to share this guy, which I sculpt at work for fun. Started from a base mesh done with skin modifier.

well, that is just awesome! That is very cool - now are you going to build him up to the same level as these other characters now?
