Starting on a character design for practicing animation. I played around for a while with the Jim character, from the DVD “Learn Character Animation with Blender”, but I didn’t like how disproportionate the head was. I’d like the posing of the hands to be easily visible as well.
As I’d already been feeling an urge to create a character similar to Playskool’s “Marvel Heroes” proportions, I figured I’d go with that as a starting point.
The mesh in its current state is a heavily distorted MakeHuman mesh, which I’ll be using as a starting point for sculpting.
