i still think blender should select the group when you select any member. that’s how it works in inkscape and probably every other software i used.

NOPE- with that reasoning you wouldnt be able to select(highlight) a single Glyph in a text editor.–> hence the select group

Why does everyone insist on using giant white bubble text with black outlines for all of these things?

Same with the massive use of the black mat with text on the bottom, and the butchering of the English language, seems like the point of most memes is to be as unsophisticated with the presentation as possible.
