Nephilim: Genesis

Nice! The monsters look really creepy.

Thank you very much, we appreciate your feedback.

We have also improved the sleeper enemy.

Here is another enemy, the Flypod.

will there be a demo soon?

Thank you for your interest. We actually now plan to release a prologue instead of a demo.

The prologue takes place about 4 months before the main game. The prologue contains about 1/12 of the entire town that the main game will have. We pretty much consider it its own game at this point.

We are getting very close to finishing it, and plan to release it in the next few months. We are going to be talking about this more very soon.

New tree system allows for all trees to blow in the wind at various wind speeds.

Skeleton People (Skull People)

Female:

Skull People are basically living skeletons. They cover themselves from flesh that they remove from corpses. Shooting them removes pieces of the flesh. After a while, they will search out new corpses to replace the damaged spots.

Partially Damaged:

We have also updated the gore system for all enemies. Enemies can now show damage and lose body parts. For example, the Greypod enemy’s head, and each individual leg can now be shot off.

Improved Entomo Enemy:

Skull People

Male:

When a Skull Person is spawned their eye color is randomly selected between blue, brown, and green. They also choose between bald, and a few various clumped hair types.

Male Skull Person with heavy topside damage:

Alpha Greypod:

Alpha Greypods lead packs of regular Greypods. When two Alpha Greypods encounter each other, they will fight. The winner takes the loser’s pack, and the loser is eaten. If a Alpha Greypod is killed, and there are no other Alpha Greypods around, the pack will scatter.

CyberHead (In-Game):

Really creepy monster models (: Good work.

Thank you very much. We really appreciate it.

Your models look very good, but you could maybe put some more work into the materials and textures. I think most of your models have too much specularity. You might decrease the specularity amount a bit to make it look more real.

Thanks, we realize many of the monsters still have adjustments to be made (such as The CyberHead’s specular). Although many of these pictures have over emphasised lighting to show all the enemy detail, which can make specular look more intense.

Made some changes on the Nephilim Model.

Randomly Generated Building Lots

The buildings in the prologue randomly assign their lot placements. There are twenty lots spots, and around thirty lots that can be generated. Each lot is about 5 acres in size, and can contain several buildings.

Improved the trees.
