A small update:p

-ejection port added
-adjusted the barrel to fit the bullet
-the barrel is now rifled
-added a few details inside the gun, these parts are not accurate but they fill some of the empty spaces inside the gun
-nuts and bolts plus a few other small details

The last thing I did was to add the bipod, It wasn’t that hard but a lot of interesting shapes to model:3

The UV mapping is done and i’m now adding normal maps:3
I still have a lot to learn, especially in the UV-mapping process^^


Testing textures in 3Do, still a lot of tweaks to do. I’m quite happy with the result except from the wood material. I think I’m going to unwrap it again:p


I did a test render of my model so far, I’m almost done with the materials:)
The next thing I’m going to do is to think about the composition and placing it in a appropriate background, haven’t decided yet if I’m going for a studio render or a realistic war scene.
