Good video editing software?

I use Natron, it is free, open-source, and just about as good as anything else out there.

I tried to use DaVinci Resolve but it wouldn’t run on my computer.

Hitfilm Express could be an option for you. I use it for most video editing. Davinci Resolve for a few things.

yeah, I agree with you too. I found HitFilm Express through a quick search through “free video editing software for beginners”, and downloaded it. I’ve really liked editing on this software, and will definitely recommend it as well to anyone who needs a video editor.

as a free, efficient, functionnal and easy to use soft i use http://www.shotcut.org/

I tried many of the free softwares mentioned here and shotcut is IMHO the only one that is worth the learning time.

Only bad point are the filters that are sometimes messy and very slow…

Happy blending !

Hitfilm Express is great while I used it on Windows. I wish it worked on Linux as that’s what I use.

Does anybody know a video editing software that resembles Hitfilm in features and UI on L
inux?

p. s. I already have da Vinci resolve.
