He doesn’t walk very well, slides a bit
the walking speeds different depending on the computer speed =\ cmon, i wouldnt just make him slide and not care about that

lol dont worry, i wasnt upset in the least…didnt you catch the wink smiley? cmon! the wink smiley man! no blender game works perfectly on everyones cmoputer unless theres some serious code… and even then theres room for incompatibility =)

Hi Blengine,
I had another look, he walks fine.
It’s when the arrow key is released, he stops walking , and there is a small delay before he comes to rest.
If I quickly tap the arrow key - he doesn’t get a chance to take a proper step so he does a series of small steps which looks like a slide.
I loaded up Monkey Island 4 tonight, tried the walk, and sure enough, the walk is almost the same as in your game - so I take back that criticism.

bah, dont take it back, it wasnt criticism to begin with 
just legitimate observation… when i tap the keys he does those small steps/slide for me too, i could probably fix that with a LOOP END instead of loop stop but bah, maybe if i ever decide to work on this again
I just put together my first tutorial…mainly because earlier this morning I couldn’t find one available.

Wow! Blengine, I’ve never seen that Monkey Island Demo before, when did you do that? It’ was spot on. I’m very impressed.
