Dornier Do 335 A-6 Night fighter

And there she flies :slight_smile: Lovely modeled as always.

Hi,

@Arcan & minoribus : thanks a lot, very appreciated :slight_smile:

Hi,

quick update with a wire asked on a french forum

http://imageshack.com/a/img908/501/WeJglW.png

That’s a nice wireframe render. Done with freestyle for cycles?

What’s interesting for me is how many different meshes make the model. Is that a huge ngon at the lower side of the front wings or are the landing gear parts different meshes?

I was wondering the same thing.

wondering !
are you going to do the cockpit and the engine too ?

happy cl

HI guys,

you are right, there are no ngons but separated meshes here. After a lot of tries to get some parts with a unique vertices flow, I came back to “real”, as I model tricky or complex parts like real ones. It fits better and allows to keep finally (at least imo) a cleaner mesh on large parts.

The wire is not really readable on this aspect, I will try to get something better if someone is interested ?
I have to mention that I will add loop cuts on large polys in order to better fit on UV maps…

@minoribus: it is a quick and dirty screenshot of 3D view + matcap and wire checkbox activated. I put the two on a single image with photoshop.

Thanks for reading and comments !
