Character Model "Green Lancer"

Totally amazing and a million miles ahead of anything I could do although the right foot seems a little off? Or it could just be the angle of the render. Either way, great work IkariGendo.

Perhaps because they are different color shades.

Very nice. However, I think the scar on his arm is too deep IMHO. It makes the arm a bit too much like a piece of wood instead of flesh. Making it flush with the skin and even bumped up a bit with some pinkish coloration would make it more realistic I think.

That is awesome. This is a whole lot better than some works of art on the gallery. Did you enter this in the Mixamo competition? Oh wait…by the looks of it it’s got more polys than are allowed. Oh well. Still a great piece of art if you didn’t win 1000 bucks.

One word: Inspiring. This is top-notch work Ikari, I would love to see this character in a game. It’s really AAA work. If it’s not asking too much, could you post a wire frame render of the model? The wire render is kinda overlapping, but i think is because some configuration maybe wrong

Congrats on this model, it is really well done. Head and shoulders above many character renders on BA. The clothing materials are very believable and the body propertions are very good.

There are a few things that could make a great render perfect. IMHO the skin shader on the arms is not quite right, looks flat and rubbery compared to the realistic cloth material.

Secondly, the metal shader on the 2 blade objects (knife and spear) could pop a little more by making the edge of the blade shinier compared to the dull material of the rest of the blade. A 2 tone shader would really make it pop more.

Lastly, the design of the boots really sticks out for me. They seem boxy and awkward compared to the slick aggressive style of the rest of the character. I think it might help to either change the shape or make them darker to be less prominent.

Once, again, great work, hopefully a few tweaks will really make it shine.

I’ll improve him soon based on your critics, thanks. But I will not remodeling the boot from scratch’ll just make some adjustments.
