@GJAnders: Thank you so much for the critique, it honestly was the most constructive critique I’ve received.
I agree with everything above, especially the potential it has. However, my time was short, and I knew I would forget the competition if I postponed the project to the next opportunity to work on it.
I’m glad you both found my post useful @Sonic14 i think you should be able to edit it and go to the attachments and change the image with a new one. And I understand what you mean @adam.vineyard I’m glad it was useful and I fully understand what you mean, I’ve got a lot going on
Well, I would LOVE to see all y’all pic’s, but for some reason… my comp won’t let me see them. Guess I’ll have to see them later. sigh
BTW, Kudos to those of you that are trying!! I am still in the modeling/sculpting part of the work. (slow going!) @GJAnders: good advice!
Regards to all,
Jeremiah Hoppman
Hey so I am somewhat new to blender(~4 months) and have been working on this for about a day(which is the longest I have really worked on a project) and feel that I like it enough to post. http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=26239
This is my entry. =)
I learned quite a bit along the way.
It started out being somewhat of a different idea. That idea got cluttered, and the end result became “less is more”.
End the end, its almost a shame. Sometimes you put sooo much into getting the detail of an object, that may just be deleted, or its hidden by shadows, etc. Im happy with it. It was a great learning experience. Ty Blender devs for putting such awesome tools in the hands of the community.
Blender 2.61
Internal render.
For me saying goodbye means that something new is going to start, however something has end. We are going to have a baby, so that is the reason why I choose this creation.
Here my input. It’s the first time I enter something in the competition. I started using Blender almost a year ago now. Before that I worked with an antique copy of 3ds max ;-). I hope you like it. I wanted to give a suggestion of a story. At first I started to put the hallway full of all kind of clutter, but I reduced it to the things that are essential to the story.
