  • added controls to LittleRedAlien
  • control are w to move forwards,a to rotate clockwise,
    d to rotate counter clockwise,space to jump
  • enlarged the groundplane
  • added moving platform to get on
  • added non moving platform to get on
  • added texture to groundplane
  • move in front of the box .then press g to grab box and then r to release box
    ounce you find it
  • added two more boxes to pick up
    hint,you have to jump on platforms to find the boxes

you just uploaded your broken blend, and you can tell, because the changes I made in the changelog are gone.

you can tap jump in air as many times as you want as well, I fixed stuff
to make it work. not to rain on your parade

motion ->Dloc = is not a good choice

and undid everything I did, that is not how this works bub,

walk cycle is broken it should be 39 frames long,

This is not fun anymore, (your kinda being a jerk)

If you fixed yours then i could use yours.You need to take some intiative.If you did not fix it.If you did you never told anyone.

You obviously just don’t understand, this ‘thing’ we are doing,
please read the rules again, or don’t play.

edit the changed blend, fix it by fixing it, not by uploading a old version.
you can simply add air controls that are separate from ground controls.

Mario can’t jump in air.

The character is a alien so he does what aliens do.They be alien.Mario is somewhat human.

I am next.But it will be fixed but not fixed.You know why because when i jump on the platform it will flinge the alien off sometimes.

I am next.

I can add a script that sets the player to parent when he is on the platform,
unless he is jumping and have it unparent if the ray is false.

tonight when it is my turn.

Finnished. I hope there is no problem my replys needs to be approved.


What I did:
-changed character physics from Dynamic to Character
-set the jump to a Character Motion jump
-increased the character speed
-disabled the ray sensor
-renamed the logic bricks on the character
-rotated sunlamp and made it yellowish
-changed Material Settings (Specular)
-changed settings for Standalone Player
-changed distance between character and camera
-added Slow Parent to the camera
-added a pause scene which is not set to ‘Esc’ yet
(set to ‘End’ key for now for less annoying working)
-added ‘TextResolution.py’ to change text resolution
-set walk animation to Loop Stop

Then a separate post that tells that you started. When you edit the announcement post you have less time. The post time counts.

You are allowed to fix any bugs you find … Or to introduce new ones :).

No problem when you miss someones contribution. It is evolution … not justice. But the someone might apply this contribution again and miss someone elses stuff. This will add experience in dealing with conflicting blend files. I can’t imagine that is easy.

Btw. Yes filenames can evolve too.

Edit: yes, members with “newbie” status might get a problem due to the 5 post moderated limitation. I guess this quickly works out as it is simple to create five posts somewhere in this forum.

what version of blender did you use?

I don’t get why it would crash. I tried appending to a new blend still instant crash on P

C) When done with your blend update your post, attach screenshot(s) and the zip.

Remark: please do not forget to announce your contribution wish for each turn. If your previous announcement expired, you need to post a new one. This should avoid any “blocking” or contribution skipping.
