sidenote: I have added rudimentary mocap, but I think I’ll start a new thread about that instead of one giant confused thread. I won’t start said thread until I have some cool stuff to show off, so PM me for an early copy.

Yep. I turns out what happened in the beginning was that i confused the step numbers as meaning buttons on the Hydra itself; when i finally found out the buttons on the interface i thought i had overlooked something in the readme, but now reading it more carefully it is indeed a bit confusing.
