A rather simple, yet strangely constructed side table design created by myself.

It began as just a simple up-side-down trapezoid shape and ended up forming this odd conglomeration of shapes.

This is my first real attempt at studio lighting, and I hope I did it well. I know the vignette isn’t done well, but I don’t know many good techniques for creating them.

Without further ado, here is the table:

It was rendered in Blender 2.76 Cycles @ 1500 samples, 1080p (1920 x 1080 px)

I’d love to get some feedback on this, what’s good and what’s bad.

The four knobs on the glas is not user friendly. Think laptop, coffee and such.

Vignette doesn’t do anything for the image.

Like the design.

Thank you! I was considering that myself, and I will probably change it, but it was initially a side table design for things like lamps, magazines and remotes. I probably should have mentioned that.

I appreciate the feedback!

I’ll probably make a similar desk, possibly even a couch, if possible.

I really like the modern look to this. The hoops of the table with the red almost look like they could be used as a logo or something, because they are very eye appealing, but simple.
