Problems with tabard and aromor.

Hi

I’m new to blender, i started working on “warrior” ish character im going to import to UE4.
I’ve run in to a couple of problems, like the tabard, i want it to stay in between the belt and torso and have colision with the leg, so when i lift the leg the tabard wont go through it. But when i press play now, the tabarb becomes “black/gray ish” so i guess the the normals get abit twisted? idk…

I also wounder if the best way to attach the armor pieces is to select the bone and then the armor to “hook” it to the bone, if you rotate the arms by the y axis the armor goes throght the pieces thats hooked to the shoulder instead of the arm bone…
