General Grievous

My entry for Quixel’s SciFiAthalon contest. Modeled in Blender, textured and rendered in the Quixel Suite.

In the process, I learned quite a bit about how not to do hard surface modeling, which is always good for future projects. Also discovered the joys of separate mesh groups.

This looks very nice, I like your modeling and materials especially the cloth. My only critique is that it doesn’t look like you used a spectacular map, if you did then it may not be strong enough

There is a specular map, but yeah, from a straight-on front view, it’s not catching much light. Some of the other pics have more reflection going on.
