Floor Constraint

Hello, Here is a question about Floor Constraint

I’m trying to not allow my character to cross the floor. I put a floor constraint on the character and the rig in the solid mode, It’s working well when i’m moving the charater.
Unfortunatly, when I’m animating with the pose mode, i can make my character cross the floor. Do you have a idea to resolve this problem?

Is it the good a way to constrain relation between floor and character?

You need a bone constraint instead of an object constraint. You can add it to the root bone or the feet bones, and target another bone shrinkwrapped to the floor plane.

I’ll let you know if i can

Have a good day

Hello @Hadriscus, I didn’t reach to make that part: “You can add it to the root bone or the feet bones, and target another bone shrinkwrapped to the floor plane.”
What step should i follow?

Are you creating a like to the ground with all your characters or you just take care of coordinates with keyframe to not cross the ground?

I don’t know much about relations between a rigging character and object. Is there a way to make an object influence a character shape? Like if he touchs the ground, the foot will compress.

Here is a test: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zYsRFi2kDFI
