Laptop for basic use

Hello!

I’m looking for a simple information :
I would like to buy a laptop to a person and I need to know if something like this :

Intel Core i7 Quad Core
Nvidia GeForce GT 930 2 GB

could be sufficient for simple modelling tasks (she is starting to learn to model).
She doesn’t need to render and create hi poly scene.

Well, I already checked that link out, but I still have some doubts, that’s why I’m trying to find some more suggestions/direct experience

You specify ‘simple’ modelling and not rendering or using high poly models. This can be done with any basic machine.
