Calling open licence gurus (need help on deciding licence)

Hi all.

For the project I´m working on, the idea is to make it as open as possible, however I´m not very good at this legal speak.

Here´s what I´m looking for in a license:

  • must respect the IP. Models and related artwork are open (meaning you can download, play around with and make derivatives of it), but the original design is not.
  • Artwork must not be used for commercial purposes, unless an agreement is made with the creator.
  • whenever any artwork is used, original creator must be credited.

There you go. Any ideas?

CC BY?

I’m no guru but Creative commons BY fits that bill

Found this:

https://creativecommons.org/choose/?lang=en

So, yeah, Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) seems to be the best fit.

Thanks!
