I cannot add Fresnel or Layer Weight nodes in node editor

Hello everyone,

As the title says, I cannot add either of those (Fresnel or Layer Weight) inputs in node editor, while following the space ship tutorial made by Blender Guru: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=06A_l95vJWw&spfreload=1 (he adds it in 3:54 in the video).
I am more than halfway done but this is a show stopper atm.

Do you know what I am missing? Is there an add-on that I should use or what is wrong, I am using Blender 2.73a. Here is an image of my input options.

I have tried to use everybody’s friend Google, but I have been left without any real results so far.

Those nodes are for the cycles render engine, you are using the blender render engine.
Delete all the materials you have made, then change the render engine from the option at the top of the blender interface and start again.
Also use the latest blender version

Hah, it was that kind of a problem (lack of knowledge). Thanks a lot for your answer, I consider this problem and thread solved.
