Blender fan project: Spyro

Hello!

For a good few months I have wanted to create a Legend of Spyro reboot Project.

I am trying to create a darker reboot of the Legend series with the a MAJOR twist! The characters such and Spyro, Sparx and Hunter will be humans, all other dragons and enemies will remain the same.

We are already have concept art ready to go, models are being done already with the four Guardians close to completion. Due to ‘The Geek Circle’ (Not from BA)

Scripts have been done so now, we are just waiting for models and animation

As for landscape art, I feel that, instead of using pictures it will be easier to watch videos to get a feeling of the landscapes, so, on YouTube, look up Spyro New Beginning full play through.

I am looking to put a team together consisting of animators, modelers ect… everyone will need to be fully invested into this project. This kind of project will be the biggest production I think that I will ever make with three games being turned into fan films.

I am looking for at least three of people to do just the modelling, four to five people to do just the texturing, people that can help with animating.

I have done script writing, storyboarding, organization and editing work into this film, and I shall also be editing the clips and placing the audio tracks in for the final works.

Each model should take around 3 - 6 weeks with initial designing, sending it to me to look over, texturing, rigging and painting. It would also help if you know how to create basic animation cycles (walking, running, flying)

Same goes for any landscape designing with animations of occasional animals or weather cycles needing to added into the landscapes animation before any models get placed in.

Animation for the entire film should take the remaining months expect for the final two up. This includes elemental animations, final checks (to make sure the characters look smoothly in the film and for any collision errors) and rendering.

It will then be down to me as an individual to make sure the clips are right, the audio is matched up and everything else.

I am looking for blender fanatics, people that have either recently started using blender or seasoned veterans. My time goal for completing one film is around a year and a half, but with help we can improve the quality and the time to completion. If you feel that you can be of help!
