Which editing program will allow me to only apply motion blur to punches in a fight scene while leaving the rest alone? Please Help!
Any tool that does vector motion blur can do that, it’s just a matter of isolating the punches in the vector pass. You might, for example, render just the gloves on an additional layer and using that alpha channel to zero out the vector pass anywhere except over the gloves.
If this is video footage of a fight you’re talking about, it’s a little trickier and you’ll probably have to roto out the fists then blur them. You could try tracking the fists so you don’t have to do as much animation with the mask.
