More problems with anime eye tutorial...

So, I am following a tutorial on youtube on how to make an eye in the anime art style… So far I got to this point in the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i34lHnmQyqo&t=4m37s

I followed the instructions word for word, step by step, and still I get this result:

Whoa dude, I am sooooo stoned right now…

And the tutorial gets this result:

What am I doing wrong?

You need to UV Unwrap your eyes:

  1. Select the eye.
  2. Go into Edit Mode
  3. Select all vertices
  4. Press the U key, select Unwrap

That should probably be enough to get the eye looking correct.
