Sculpting without add more polygons

hey dude;
I’m in war with myself! should I learn zbrush too or not?!!.. but I had to learn something from it to test…

All my problem is that I want to do this:

When I’m sculpting, the blender [zbrush too I think!] do my drawing on present polygons… It force you to subdivide more… it makes your model highpolygon!
I want to ask you is there any tool that let you when you sculpt on something it add or delete polygons automaticly on where you are doing it!

tnx!

Look at dynamic topology sculpting if you don’t want to use the multires modifier

What is your problem in having high numbers of polygons when sculpting ?

If you don’t want to create any more polygons at all you could just fake it by paint bump maps instead of actually sculpting

tnx richard
have we any tool like this in zbrush!?

Like what ? Dynamic topology ? No. It works like Sculptris subdividing the surface dynamicaly only where you draw a stroke
