No smoke in final render

Ok I have researched, poked and prodded, and tried everything I can think of but it still doesn’t work. :frowning: I can render the smoke just fine in the viewport by changing the display to rendered. But if I do a F12 render the smoke does not show up. So what is the difference?

I’m using cycles
I have the device set to CPU
I have applied a material to the domain (it works in the viewport)
I’m using the official Blender version 2.76b

Is there something I’m missing? I’m trying to composite the smoke in, if that makes a difference (I tried turning compositing off, but didn’t help).

Thanks,

Jason

Nevermind I figured it out.

So anyone else who has the same issue and finds this thread hoping for the solution to be revealed will be disappointed since the person with the answer couldn’t even be bothered to say what it was. I’m sure that will make their day

LOL, sorry, I had been messing with so many controls I missed this one here:

Not to mention that I was getting tired and grumpy. I think there are too many differences between the viewport render and the final render. There should only be a few, if this setting was reflected in the viewport render I would have discovered the issue much sooner I think.
