Shading in sculpt mode doesn't update until I enter edit mode

Hi,

I’ve been using Blender and its sculpt for years but now I don’t know what’s going on :stuck_out_tongue:
When I sculpt (on an imported and subdivided Image Plane), the shading doesn’t update… like the normals didn’t change. I have to enter and exit Edit Mode for it to refresh. Is there an option for that, optimized display or something? Here’s how it behaves, blender 2.76b:

Listen, in future post for these kind of problems please upload your .blend file so that people could fix this problem for you more easily. For now, you can check if you have any vertex colors in your vertex color panel and delete them so that they don’t interfere with your work.

I think I know what’s going on. Shading in the viewer works a little different when in Cycles render mode. Instead of textured view, switch to solid. Then go to the properties panel, expand the dropdown for shading, and check the box “textured solid”. Hopefully that does the trick.
