^you mean the third image? the lighting at the back was done via post pro in blender, I use the blend texture and mix with the original image.

My question was regarding the first image.
^The background is a plane curved upward, the lightning is just two light planes: one from the right and another from left.
Hey man, fantastic renders, to say the true on the preview image on the this threat I thought on your third image are a few cans of soda, or a lot of camera lenses, the second shot of your renders are my favorite, nice weapon!
nice renders - especially the second one. i like the balance of matte and glossy materials. very well done!
