Metal deformation physics Help

I am trying to make an object deform like a metal, I put soft body, plastic 100, bending 10 but it is still wobbly, not metal like, can you send me some settings or tips?

Hi, just bumping this in case someone got the answer: I’ve got the same issue; Jello is easy, but how about like a cars bodywork bending at impact, but not wobbling before or after?

PS: For the next landing here and in case this is still not solved: I actually got decent - fairly decent - results fom a stting of zero gravity, not moving my ‘car’, but throwing ‘the world’ into it… and let the car be made of … cloth! :slight_smile:
(I just needed a still frame for a static model in a game)

Have you looked into dynamic paint? It is also capable of deforming things, see here: https://www.blender.org/manual/physics/dynamic_paint/canvas.html#displace

And dynamic paint will never wobble…
