Sand (Molecular) physics and particle system

Dear blender community,

I was watching some videos, and I decided to do some more physics. I found a great video called "9 ways to destroy things" (https://youtu.be/wJFE2pb0Ri4?t=335) and I was having troubles with the sand (or Molecular) simulations. The video teaches it very, very fast and I was wondering if anyone had previously worked with sand/molecular simulations and could enlighten me. Also, a side question, would the sand particles be affected by (for example) a fluid simulation? Like if I dropped the sand in water, would it be affected by the movement of the water at all? Thank you all, and happy blending.

The fluid simulation does not exert any forces so the fluid cannot affect a particle system and a particle system cannot affect the fluid simulation. Just fake the result you want
