It’s funny how you took my post title (which was a joke as I’m new to the forum) instead of the provided title (is it because the provided title was crap?)
Finding a good title for an image in my opinion is not really straightforward, that’s why sometimes i omit that.

Mik, not simulated at all, all modeled. One half of one spike was modeled, mirror, array, curve (circle), all applied, loops bridged, disp, and MR sculpted a tiny bit. I think I went overboard trying to get too artsy on it.
It is nice to see so many entries this week! I like every one of them. In the end my vote went to FriZan’s “Liquid Colors”. It is chaotic in a great way - and if you look at it long enough you start to see all kinds of shapes, e.g. people or animals. (Well, maybe I should go to bed now…

@RobertT: Brilliant (as always)! I hope we’ll find ways to explore and visit worlds like this for real. On the other hand, we should probably learn to keep it together at home before starting to stumble through the universe…
It’s really exciting to see these kinds of worlds being discovered, almost regularly now.
And you’re absolutely right about keeping it together before getting out and about the universe.
Technologically, humankind has made amazing progress in relatively short time, but there’s much to be learned, many basic things yet to be balanced and understood.
But it can and must and will be done if we are truly to be long-term explorers of the cosmos. So many stars, worlds, and sights to be seen, and all the incredible discoveries to be made. This is endlessly inspirational stuff.
