What happened to the rotation Widget?

Alright so i needed a new computer as the last one was busted so now i’m jumping into Blender 2.76 and…where as i like advancements, i also have trouble with change…

One thing driving me absolutely mad right now is making poses using the rotation widget… I don’t know why, but i’d say 99% of the time i click the widget to rotate the selection, it just slaps the 3D cursor right there… and i have to sit there clicking over and over a hundred times until the widget finally lets me use it, or i give up and try to awkwardly trackball it into place or use numbers on the keyboard instead…

Is this some kind of glitch? or is there like… a new button i’m suppose to hold while using the rotation widget or something?

Any help please? T^T

I’m not mad or angry… i mean… aside from frustrated groaning and intensive fast clicking…

I just wanna learn so i can get back into a fluid workflow ; - ;

please help ;A;

(also does anyone else get mouse lag in blender now?)

This happened to me also for some reason. I fixed it by going into the User Preferences and setting “Selection” to “OpenGL Occlusion Queries” in the “System” tab. See if that works for you.

Perfect! I would have never found that, Thanks so much :smiley:
