transparent shader turns non transparent.

Hi!

I am trying to make an animation where the camera is placed inside a transparent object.
The problem is that when you can see the object through it self the parts that are overlapping are no longer transparent.
This happens when you have two separate objects to but then I could mask one over the other in the compositor.

Go into the render settings and set the max transparent depth to a higher value.

The value is not set very high by default.

I had some trouble logging in here.

I was not able to find the setting. After I googled it I found Max transparency bounces but that didn’t change anything in the render.

Try using light path node’s facing output

It’s just a transparent shader.
