Mirror over a mesh piece on the horizontal exis?

Hi again,

How can I mirror over a mesh piece on the horizontal axis with it looking opposite to the first piece. I tried a Mirror modifier, and then the x axis, but it remains with close proximity of the mesh, as the result displays.

Not sure what you are talking about but
Ensure that you object has no rotation. Look in the properties panel (N). If the object has any rotation apply it with Ctrl+A

The mirror modifier mirrors about the objects origin. Therefore you will get different results depending where the origin is. You can change the origin location (Set Origin option in toolshelf) or in the mirror modifier properties you can use the origin of another object such as an empty http://www.blender.org/manual/modifiers/generate/mirror.html

I want to get that eye piece with the eye ball behind mirrored over to the other eye area position. Origin just mirrors it further away from the face structure.

Rather than having to decipher poor unclear screenshots supply a link to your blend file http://www.pasteall.org/blend/

What does this mean ?

The eye mesh with the sphere behind it the two mesh pieces that right there, I want it mirrored over to the right, and to as if it was shaped for that part of this wip face. All the origins button has done is move it further away, and there is no way to move it. I’ve left it for the moment. Its no longer important than the getting the face part sorted.

The only way we can help you now is to look at your blend. The way you are wording your issue is difficult to understand.
