How do you stop fluid flowing when using inflow. I am using inflow type as a fluid object. I want the fluid to flow, then stop the flow and let the simulation finish when the water settles on the floor of the domain object.
Keyframe enabled/disabled the ‘Enabled’ option in the inflow settings
Go to the frame, enable/disable the Enabled option and with the cursor over the option press I to insert a keyframe
Go to another frame and repeat

If you want to have a gradual reduction in flow, you can keyframe the scale of the inflow object, too. Once it gets too small, the liquid will cut as well.
Example:
Emitter at a big size and the liquid’s a torrent.
Emitter at a tiny size and the liquid’s a dribble.

You may need to have the inflow keep its size constant. You just keyframe its Inflow Velocity value to change the rate of flow
