Particles clipping through mesh

Hi

I am currently working on a scene, where I am using a particle system for distributing some fern as seen below.


Somehow, on the other side of the beach my ferns are clipping the mesh - se below.


All of the fern/particles are in the same particle system. Have I missed a button somewhere? It is really frustrating since the first side are fine.

Anybody got anything I could try?

  1. Make sure the origin of the fern(s) is at their lowest point and not somewhere in the middle.
  2. Uncheck advanced, and then Check ‘use modifier stack’ in the particle system.

It’s probably one of those two.

edit: Also, make sure your particle is at the bottom of the stack.

I see how it works now, just needs to be fiddled in place.
