What's Wrong with My Smoke Simulation?

Try to make a spaceship inspired by Elite: Dangerous and when I did a test render the smoke didn’t show up. I’ve tried all sorts of stuff and I’m not sure what I did wrong.

The link is to the .blend file as that would probably be a lot easier than trying to explain it through this.
If you look at the first picture it is the object that is emitting the particle system by which the smoke is going off of. The next one is part of the domain, and the last one is the rest of the domain smoke options tab. I am not using an object for the particles, just the default “halo”. The object is perfectly in the domain and although very close to another object, it is not touching.

If anyone can help me out with this, it’ll be greatly appreciated.
