Problem connecting separate bones toghether

So I am building a character( a fox specifically) and I made an armature for it with separate bones for it’s eyes/ When I try to parent the eye bones to the rest of the armature it twists the whole structure in an irreversible way

Parent the eye bone to bone.005 in the head using Ctrl+P / Parent with Offset
Then in the Eye bone’s IK constraint set the Chain Length to 1

Works perfect now, thanks!
