I am trying to save images from Blenders uv editor with transparent background but opacity on the painted parts. How can I achieve this? The reason I want to do this is because I use a filter inside my painting app that blends all the colors of the edges on each shell to prevent bleeding. This is a huge time saver. See attached pictures.
Create your original image with a transparent background and save your image in a format that can have an alpha channel
Just tested exporting the UV layout as a.png and it has a transparent background
Thanks a lot i will try that, however is it possible to do that on a texture you have already painted on that dont have transparency from the gecko?
