(UE4) Does anyone have any insight on the creation of a skeletal mesh for Unreal?

Unreal is a dark hole I don’t mind exploring for knowledge.

But as far as rigging and exporting there’s a huge list of does and don’ts and I was wondering if anyone who has any experience with the pipeline would have any knowledge they would be willing to part with.

For the sake of keeping it simple, if I were to copy this tutorial to the letter,

would there be anything wrong with this rig if used or exported into unreal?
ANY knowledge you can give me about any part of this subject would be amazing.
it pains me to start a on a new tool, but it seems trail and error is the way
(I would be extremely grateful for anything!)
