Can Anyone Help a New Guy with my Lighting? I will PAY you $20 to get my lights right

Total newcomer here – sorry if this is grade school stuff…

I thought I had it --then I didn’t. And now I’ve been messing around for HOURS and I can’t get it right… and I am on a deadline, albeit self imposed :slight_smile: It would take someone who knows what they’re doing all of 5 minutes. I’ll pay $20. for your help and so I can learn.

Basically I made the left image and therein made the curved sides of the shelf transparent. Next when I pasted the stock 3D I couldn’t get the bottles to be transparent. So, next logical thing was I pasted my shelves into the bottle file and gained the transparent bottles but lost the the transparent curved sides and the top graphic!!

Basically i need the images combined so everything shows up right! Please help meeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I can help you, just one question, Are you using Cycles Render or Blender Internal for the left image?

Not enough info. Could you post the .blend?

Erp. Cycles. i thought for sure I had it set to Blender but maybe when I when and added the transparent material to the curved side it auto changed to Cycles?

Like i said… I’m brand new… only been using Blender for less than 2 weeks.

I would have done this on $10, but if you got it free, even better. Hope you didn’t pay the $20… That’s too much.

Examining a lighting set up and getting it right can take time. Time is money.

People should not be offering to do work for free in the paid work section. You are taking money out of someone’s pocket doing that.
