Blender’s NLE is easy and pretty simple to use for the standard stuff. (cutting, slicing, transitions,…)
However, I did not find any pointers for a need I have…
I have a .mp4 video clip measuring 1920 by 1080 px but I’m only interested in the area 500,250 (lower left) to 1150,900 (upper right)
Is there any way to render out this particular area of the video into a new video file?
Add / Effect Strip / Transform.
Adjust the settings in the effect strip properties (position / scale / rotation settings)
