That was absolutely worth blowing my last bit of high speed bandwidth for the month on. Out of curiosity what would you say was the overall cost to produce this camera?

I had bought two used Pi’s on eBay for 30 dollars. Each came w/ it’s own enclosure (the blue one, in the vid, and another one that is a clear plastic and quite a bit different design). Got the cam module from china for 22 dollars. Altogether the cost would be right at 40 dollars.

$40 is pretty good, nice work.

Thanks for the compliment on the render. The real bike isn’t in quite as good of shape these days. Had an accident not long ago, flipped myself and it over a guard rail, and had to replace the brake and gear cables. Good repair experience though. Plus a few flat tires, the roads around here are littered with debris, and now the back wheel isn’t perfectly round so there’s a little bump when riding it hah.
