Shockwave effect at the wrong place

Hi!

I’ve been trying to create an animation of a creature slamming the ground with a shockwave effect. I have already created the animation and the shockwave effect. However, whenever I move the cylinder-shaped mesh that emits particles and mainly causes the shockwave effect to another place, once I start the animation again, the mesh gets back to the old location.

I’ve tried to apply location, rotation and scale options, but it doesn’ t change anything. I’ve already applied the scale option for the mesh, does it change anything?

Maybe you could suggest me what to do next. I am not able to solve the problem myself.
