Entry closes at 22:30 GMT or 16:30 CST, Monday 3rd of August 2015.

Welp.

Hello,
This is my PURE entry “morning” rendered with cycles 1000s.

PURE “07 59 morning”
Cycles render 1500 samples.

Open entry as Substance Painter and Inkscape were used for texturing:

Milk and alarm clock:

The clock can be downloaded at blendswap, right now it’s still waiting for approval.

Been a while since I’ve had a chance to enter one of these. Barely enough time to even turn on my computer the last month or so.

Here is a quick entry. Pure, Blender internal, some color adjustments in Paint.net.

Morning mood
Pure entry (Some image based textures)

An attempt of showing the mood I usually have in the morning. I hope it serves as a bit of a contrast to those abused alarm clocks (yet to come?).

Kitchen

pure entry, 800 samples. If I had more time, there would be wall tiles, plates, and maybe some drinks.
If I had even more time, maybe some food

@Enos: well played :stuck_out_tongue:

Morning star
Pure cycles.

(If you don’t get it, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morning_star_(weapon))

Here’s my entry “alarm-clock”.
Done in Blender except the rendering which was made with LuxRender.

Pure entry, 300 samples. Used Andrew Prices PRO SKY (free pack) for lighting + some emitter planes.

This is a picture, about the way to work, or anyother way, in the morning. Just a perfect start in the day.

I am quite not sure about if my picture is open or pure (?). So i tell you how I made it. The road, the grass and the compositing was made with blender. I used a lensflare, a road and a “dirt/dust” texture and the “Pro Lighting: Sky (Demo)” by Andrew Price. The rest but the mentioned things is made with blender only (I compressed it with Gimp into .jpg).

I hope u enjoy my picture

I am sorry for double post :o

Here is my non-competing entry:
