Is there a way to manually enter in weight percent?

Is there a way other than painting the weight onto an object to evenly split the weight between multiple bones?

Example.
In project A the rigging has 10 bones.
I want Object 1 to have its weight split 3 ways between bones 4, 5 and 6.

Is there a way that I can just select the bone in the vertex group and input 33.33% to that bone or something similar?

Select the bone/vertex group, select the vertices you want to give a weight to, set the weight and press the Assign button to assign that weighting to the selected vertices

While in edit mode, N-panel, Mesh Display, Show Weights checkbox.
