use texture as bumpmap

i feel like i can generate more textures in the texture panel than what i can do in the node editor, is there a way to import the texture from the texture panel to the node editor?


im planning to use them as bumpmaps, and i cant generate the same by using “wave” in the node editor.

by the way, i know i can export it as an image, but i dont want to do that. i want blender to take the data from the texture and use that in the node editor. also let me adjust the texture and watch the resoult in real time.
