I had made a model with alot particles
my model was 2.5 MB with particles and after removing the particles the file size was still at 2.5 MB (no byte lower) instant of lowering the file size.
Why and how does this happens?

edit: now that i saw the model again it was 3.85 MB
my model is a low poly with 8466 vertices and 9035 faces
the file size “3.85 MB” is too big for that low-poly model
so, what this could be? (does the prefs. also saved in the .blend file?)
2nd edit: recovering the exact model from autosave the model have got 2.27 MB, i don’t know why but much better now!
